The new station is connected to the Sokolkiki-station, which received the Grand Prix in 1937 at the international world exibition in Paris, and has a northern lobby, which goes into the park. That’s why the main idea is “people, time and park”.

It is a meeting place, for walks in the Park «Sokolniki», and also provides an overview of the history of Moscow and Russia through photos on the walls of a tunnel. The film-shaped pannels gathers the pictures from the 19th century to the present day. People, faces, emotions and a park at the background illustrate the life of Moscovites. It is a continuous stream of life – just as our grandparents and parents, our children and grandchildren will walk in the Park, come here after prom at the school today, meet friends and entertain their kids.

This station project has strict and geometric black-and-white main hall is in a neighborhood with an outstanding monument of Russian constructivism - Rusakov club, by Konstantin Melnikov. This fact has also influenced the main idea a lot, giving laconism to every detail. The gradient of columns and the floor has different directions, making an interesting space inside. The pictures are gaining color and saturation, coming nearer the northern exit to the real life, the park.

Modern technologies of processing and installation allow the use of natural stone, glass and printing on ceramics. These ecological materials allow us to create photo panels, seamlessly embedded lighting systems, navigation, lighting, information resources, and the devices networks and systems.
